David Vender

David is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of long-term business plans for an open-air center portfolio in Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Virginia.

“We engage with the community and local government to identify avenues to activate our properties with relevant tenants who will drive traffic from early morning into the evening hours.” David adds that relevant uses are constantly evolving and can include traditional retailers, restaurants, fitness, entertainment, financial services, specialty medical and more. “Our team is nimble and we remain highly focused on responding to the needs of the local community.”

David has more than 20 years’ experience working in the shopping center industry. He earned a B.B.A. from Temple University. Prior to 2012, David served as Senior Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Region and as Vice President, Leasing, Northeast Region of New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc., a predecessor of Brixmor.
