Brian T. Finnegan

Brian has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Brixmor Property Group since July 2024 and was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer in October 2025. He previously held the role of Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2023 until his promotion in 2024. Brian briefly served as Interim CEO and President from April to May 2024.

Brian interacts with every aspect of Brixmor’s business, from leasing to legal, accounting, finance and marketing. “We all have a shared focus that’s not just about driving revenue, but bringing exciting and relevant businesses to our centers, and doing whatever we can to help them succeed.”

Finding the right fit is key. “When a business opens up in the right center, it can have such a positive impact for the tenant and the local community.”

Brian joined Kramont Realty Trust, a predecessor of Brixmor, in 2004 as a Senior Leasing Associate. He has served in various roles around the country, including Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer, Executive Vice President of Leasing, Regional Vice President of Leasing, Vice President of Redevelopment – South Region, Senior Vice President Asset Manager – West Region and Senior Vice President of Leasing and Development for the West region.

Brian's leadership has been recognized in Chain Store Age “50 Under 40” and again in “10 Under 40” as well as Shopping Centers Today “Leasing Leaders”. He lives outside of New York City with his wife and three daughters.
