Venice Village is an established neighborhood open-air center located in South Venice’s primary retail corridor on Tamiami Trail and situated in an affluent, high-growth market with a 5-year population growth 343% higher than the national average. The 175,342-square-foot center is anchored by Publix, the area’s top grocer, alongside national tenants such as JOANN Fabrics and Crafts and Planet Fitness.
The project demolished and rebuilt an existing 30-year-old 42,000-square-foot Publix anchor and replaced with a 48,387-square-foot Publix prototype.
Other enhancements included property-wide façade renovations, parking lot and landscaping improvements and energy-efficient features such as upgrading to LED lighting.
