Students, families, and community partners came together at Roosevelt Mall to kick off the school year.
The School District of Philadelphia’s Back-to-School Bus Tour made a stop at the newly redeveloped center, where over 3,000 backpacks and school supplies were distributed to local kids.
The event brought out the Free Library of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Fire Department, and Children and Families Services, along with a DJ, face painting, bounce houses, and plenty of energy.
Tenants including Rita’s Ice, Raising Cane’s, T-Mobile, Oak St. Health, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Snipes joined in to support the day.
We strive to be the center of the communities we serve. Events like this help us connect to those communities.
