By installing drought-tolerant plants and smart irrigation, Brixmor enhances the look and feel of our shopping centers. Smart irrigation controls the water usage based on soil, weather and plants and alerts employees if there is something awry.

Last year at Mansell Crossing, this smart irrigation system helped us reduce water consumption by 34%. Since inception, Brixmor as a whole has reduced water consumption by 95M gallons across our portfolio.
