Retail Shopping Center in Nanuet, NY
Rockland Plaza is undergoing an extensive reconfiguration designed to modernize the center and elevate its merchandising mix. The redevelopment includes the transformation of the former Barnes & Noble and Petco into a 25,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack, a 5,000-square-foot Ann Taylor Factory Store, a 4,000-square-foot Motion PT with additional retail.
The former Modell's Sporting Goods and Marshalls spaces are being redeveloped and right-sized to accommodate a 30,000-square-foot national value retailer, a 29,000-square-foot Burlington Stores, and a lineup of small-shop tenants including Honeygrow and Naya.
The project also includes the remerchandising of several in-line shop spaces, highlighted by the addition of a 3,000-square-foot Quickway Hibachi, as well as the construction of a new 5,000-square-foot outparcel to further enhance the center’s tenant mix.
Site-wide improvements include comprehensive façade renovations, upgraded landscaping, new site lighting and signage and structural enhancements, resulting in improved visibility, circulation and overall customer experience.
