Wayfair: Temp to Perm
Greensboro NC CBSA
Digitally native retailer Wayfair secured a pop up retail space through our short-term commercial lease program to test demand in a new market. Launching quickly in a 33,000 SF temporary retail space for rent allowed them to validate sales and convert to a permanent lease after just three months. Their success led to a second permanent location in Chicago within the year. This month-to-month commercial lease model reduces risk and builds brand awareness, making a short-term retail lease or seasonal retail space for rent a smart first step.

San Diego CBSA
Aloha Sense, a permanent tenant, launched an artisan open-air market in 2022 through a short-term commercial lease for parking lot space. Held monthly, she rents the space and manages booth sales, logistics and promotion. The market has grown from a few makers to 30 vendors selling handmade goods. With ample space, convenient parking, road visibility and built-in daily needs traffic, this pop-up retail space helps vendors succeed and activates the center.

National brands with significant advertising budgets continue to renew, citing strong exposure and repeated weekly impressions since installation more than two years ago. Today, 27 properties feature screens, with 40 more coming online in 2026.
