Honoring Local History

It’s important that our centers tie into the communities they serve. At Magnolia Plaza, we used a mural by local artist Kim Houston to depict the history of Morganton, NC. The city is a gateway into the state parks and mountain range of the Smokey Mountains. The historic train, courthouse and museum seen on the mural are important landmarks of Morganton.

The artwork is the perfect addition to the updated center and compliments the new tenants well.
