Biography
| Mike Axelrad is Senior Vice President, Southwest Region of Brixmor Property Group. In this role, he oversees approximately 11.5 million square feet of community and neighborhood shopping centers in Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. Until April 2007, Mr. Axelrad was Senior Vice President, Acquisitions / Dispositions, Southwest Region of New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc., a predecessor of Brixmor Property Group. Mr. Axelrad joined New Plan in 2002 after its acquisition of CenterAmerica Property Trust, where he had spent seven years as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Previously, he practiced law with Brown, Parker & Leahy. Mr. Axelrad has been involved in the shopping center industry for over 16 years. |
